The subject of the project is the organisation of the XII, XIII and XIV editions of the Krakow Jazz Autumn Festival, which aims to promote contemporary jazz music in Poland and to educate the audience in international dialogue within improvised music. A unique element of each edition is the creation of cooperation conditions for the creation of new musical works in international collaborations, supporting positive cultural and social changes in the world. In 2017, 2018, 2019, the focus will be on cultural exchanges with a particular focus on the Baltic Sea region. Musical improvisation is a special kind of artistic and emotional exchange, in its essence it is universal and allows for nonverbal communication. The programme of the next three editions of KJJ consists primarily of concerts, workshops and meetings with the audience. The main part will be the residences of artists allowing them to work together on projects and exchange experiences, knowledge and skills.Organised from 2006 by the Alchemia Cultural Centre Foundation, the cyclical festival in the form of several-day blocks every year in the period from October to December, constantly broadens its scope. As part of the project of the XII, XIII and XI editions, there will be 3 new modules added value of the cyclic event:I. Residences of artists: several days of creative stays of international music ensembles created for the purposes of the project, whose joint work will be crowned with a premiere performance.II. Improvisation workshops for young musicians from Baltic countries conducted by recognised free jazz musicians also crowned with a joint concert.III. A special programme block presenting contractors from the Baltic Sea region. The project’s material scope includes: organisation of concerts and workshops, identification, communication including modernisation of the festival website, promotion and documentation of events and delegations for the programming of the festival. Own contribution to the project will be financed with the participation of Sponsors (English) | |||||||||||||||

Program trzech kolejnych edycji KJJ to przede wszystkim koncerty, warsztaty i spotkania z publicznością.
