Przedmiotem projektu będzie modern. i zakup sprzętu na Odd. Wew. (sprzęt jest w zał. 5). 8 sal będzie miało dostęp do własnych łazienek, pozostałych 5 sal będzie miała dostęp aż do czterech łazienek ogólnodostępnych. 2 sale jednoosobowe będą mogły pełnić funkcję izolatek.Oddz. zostanie usytuowany na 1 poziomie - 3 piętrze, gdyż dotychczas dwa odcinki znajdowały się na 3 i 2 piętrze. Prace bud. będą się odbywały pod nadz. inspekt nadzoru z branż budowlanej, elektrycznej i instalacyjnej. Liczba łóżek ulegnie zmniejszeniu z 55 na 44 ale nowoczesne metody leczenia możliwe do wdrożenia dzięki zakupowi nowego i wymianie zużytego sprzętu pozwolą na skrócenie czasu hospitalizacji, większą przelotowość przy zachowaniu obecnej liczby hospitalizacji. Poprawi się ergonomia pracy personelu i warunki bytowe pacjentów (2 otwarte konsole pielęg. z pokojami przygotowawczymi, dwa pokoje badań, dwa zmoderniz. brudowniki, sale z łazien., mniejsza liczba łóżek, telemetria itp.).Liczba personelu nie ulegnie zwiększeniu,będzie optymal. wobec zwiększ. obciążenia pacjen. w ciężkich st. chorob.
