W ramach projektu planowane są dwa działania: odbiór i unieszkodliwianie azbestu z posesji osób fizycznych mieszkających na terenie Gminy, realizacja działań informacyjnoedukacyjnych dla mieszkańców.Realizacja projektu jest konieczna z uwagi na ochronę środowiska ,wód, gleby. Mieszkańcy zmieniają pokrycia budynków z azbestu np. na blachę ,azbest zdjęty składany jest przy nieruchomościach ponieważ ponosząc koszty zmiany pokrycia budynku nie stać już właścicieli na utylizację azbestu.
