The implementation of this project will consist of the purchase of a research and development service carried out by a research facility consisting of developing an innovative connection of casing pipes in thread-welded technology with drilling of holes up to 150 m with simultaneously tubing. Work on new solutions will be carried out in cooperation with scientific and technical staff of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas AGH in Krakow. Within the framework of this project, the company aims to develop the production technology of innovative interconnection of casing pipes in thread-welded technology with drilling of holes up to 150 m. The traditional method of joining the lining pipes is that the thread is cut on the pipe, but the material from which the pipes are produced is usually characterised by weak abrasion and wear strength properties. Pipes with thin walls are usually used here, so trapezoidal or triangular threads are used. These types of threads have the disadvantage that they wipe quickly, they get involved for a long time and tend to “cut” themselves. The new thread is intended to be abrasion-resistant, allow fast and repeated twisting and unscrewing and do not cause a “cutting” effect. The new solution will also use a qualitatively improved material on which the thread will be cut in order to increase its strength and multiple work. For this purpose, a technology will be developed for cutting threads on steel with increased mechanical strength and joining it by means of welding method to the lining pipe. The new solution will be characterised by increased durability and vitality. The new solutions developed as a result of the project are characterised by the following characteristics: higher durability and rigidity, which means higher durability, ease and increased service safety. In the longer term, the project’s effects will be implemented into production, thus expanding Archon’s offer. (English)

W ramach przedmiotowego projektu firma dąży do opracowania technologii produkcji innowacyjnego połączenia rur okładzinowych w technologii gwintowo-spawanej przy wierceniu otworów do 150m. Nowe rozwiązania opracowane w wyniku realizacji projektu mają charakteryzować się następującymi cechami: wyższa wytrzymałość i sztywność, a więc wyższa trwałość, łatwość i zwiększone bezpieczeństwo obsługi. W dalszej perspektywie efekty projektu zostaną wdrożone do produkcji, poszerzając w ten sposób ofertę spółki Archon. (Polish)
