Obiekt ma 3 kondygnacje nadziemne w części istniejącej, która będzie przebudowana ostatnia w poddaszu, jest podpiwniczony. Budynek zostanie rozbudowany o część o 2 kondygnacjach nadziemnych i 2 podziemnych. Kondygnacje podziemne zostaną częściowo ukryte pod płytą ogólnodostępnego placu.W części podziemnej zarówno istniejącej jak i projektowanej będzie znajdować się głównie przestrzeń wystawiennicza galeria wraz z zapleczem hig.sanit., pom. technicznymi jak i gospodarczymi.Część nadziemna w poziomie parteru będzie mieścić: hol połączony z istniejącą sienią wiatrołapem, sale warsztatowe, inf.turyst. i pomieszczenia pomocnicze. W poziomie piętra będzie znajdować się połączenie komunikacyjne części istniejącej i projektowanej, sale warsztatowe, toalety i pomieszczenie socjalne. Poddasze będzie przeznaczone na pomieszczenia administracyjne.Budynek wyposażony będzie w dźwig obsługujący wszystkie kondygnacje.Zadania w ramach projektu:1 Część dobudowywana elementy konstrukcyjne2 Część istniejąca roboty i materiały budowlane 3 Instalacje ogrzewanie, wentylacja, wokan, elektryczna4 Wyposażenie zmodernizowanego i rozbudowanego budynku. 5 Nadzór budowlanyZewnętrzna forma istniejącego budynku zostanie w całości zachowana zgodnie z historycznym wyglądem. Wszystkie elementy zostaną odnowione bądź odtworzone. Rozbudowa planowana jest w części tylnej elewacji. Przestrzenne rozwiązania dostosowane zostaną do budynków sąsiadujących. W części projektowanej obiekt będzie posadowiony za pośrednictwem ścian szczelinowych i płyty fundamentowej z betonu. Taka technologia pozwala na wykonanie obudowy przyszłej kubatury w części podziemnej obiektu bez naruszania spoistości i stabilności gruntu w obrębie działki i zminimalizowanie oddziaływania na sąsiednie obiekty.
