Brewery Pilsweiser S.A. operates in a highly competitive market for beer production, which is brewed according to traditional recipes. The Company intends to invest in this project, with the aim of developing new recipes and technologies covering the growing process: beer with reduced content of sugars and calories, beer lowering the pressure, beer reducing the so-called “kaca” effect, fruit beers with analysis of flavour-scented components. In addition, it intends to carry out quality tests of beer produced by determination of alcohol content, determination of acidity, testing of the presence of organic micro-pollutants, determination of calorie levels and sugars, determination of mineral levels and sensory tests. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the Company will have new species and types of beers, which are not offered by competing breweries. In addition, they will be the basis of the product portfolio and will ensure recognition of the brand of Browar Pilsweiser S.A. and will contribute to the company’s greater competitiveness among large brewing companies. The work will be commissioned by the research and development unit of the Hugo Kołłątaj Agricultural University in Krakow, at the Faculty of Food Technology in the Department of Fermentation and Technological Microbiology, which will be responsible for developing new products and planting technologies. Browar Pilsweizer S.A. prowadzi działalność na wysoce konkurencyjnym rynku produkcji piwa, które warzone jest według tradycyjnych receptur. Spółka zamierza zainwestować w niniejszy projekt którego, celem będzie opracowanie nowych receptur i technologii obejmujących proces warzenia: piwa o obniżonej zawartości cukrów i kalorii, piwa obniżającego ciśnienie, piwa zmniejszającego tzw. efekt „kaca”, piw owocowych z analizą komponentów smakowo-zapachowych. Ponadto zamierza przeprowadzić badania jakości wytworzonych piw poprzez oznaczenie zawartości alkoholu, oznaczenie kwasowości, badania obecności mikrozanieczyszczeń organicznych, oznaczenie poziomów kaloryczności oraz cukrów, oznaczenie poziomów składników mineralnych jak i przeprowadzić badania sensoryczne. Dzięki realizacji projektu Spółka posiadać będzie nowe gatunki i rodzaje piw, które nie są oferowane przez konkurencyjne browary. Ponadto będą one podstawą portfolio produktowego i zapewnią rozpoznawalność marce Browar Pilsweizer S.A, oraz przyczynią się do większej konkurencyjności spółki wśród dużych firm piwowarskich. Prace będą zlecone jednostce badawczo-rozwojowej Uniwersytetowi Rolniczemu im. Hugona Kołłątaja w Krakowie na Wydziale Technologii Żywności w Katedrze Technologii Fermentacji i Mikrobiologii Technicznej, który zajmie się opracowaniem nowych produktów oraz technologii warzelniczych.
