This project involves research activities aimed at developing an innovative system of storage devices and the full recording of the circulation of thermo-olabile medicines. The project is a response to the market demand, diagnosed by the Applicant during cooperation with the medical industry. The current state of equipment in hospital wards does not allow for monitoring the conditions under which drug circulation takes place. The lack of available solutions leads to a situation where patients are given medicines which, due to poor storage conditions, may not have therapeutic effects and in extreme situations even harm patients. The project will be implemented in the period 01.01.2019 31.12.2020. The scope of the project includes 4 tasks, all of which will consist of experimental development work, model building, numerical simulations of key elements of the system, development and execution of a prototype system, system tests in the operating conditions of the hospital ward. The target level of technological readiness at the end of the project is level IX.The result of the project will be a product innovation in Europe, a newly developed complete system for storing and registering medicines, guaranteeing the preservation of the so-called cold path from the moment of delivery of the drug to the hospital, to the moment of its application to the patient. Thus, the Applicant will supply to the market a product that will allow to determine the conditions for storing medicines in the hospital and recreate the complete path of the drug from admission to administration to the patient.The applicant is a manufacturer of refrigeration devices and will implement the resulting project results independently. After completing the necessary steps related to the implementation of the new product for regular production, it will expand the offer of the Applicant’s products. (English)

    Przedmiotowy projekt obejmuje prace badawczorozwojowe, które mają na celu opracowanie innowacyjnego systemu urządzeń do przechowywania oraz pełnego rejestrowania obiegu leków termolabilnych. Projekt stanowi odpowiedź na rynkowe zapotrzebowanie, zdiagnozowane przez Wnioskodawcę w trakcie współpracy z branżą medyczną. Obecny stan wyposażenia na oddziałach szpitalnych nie daje możliwości monitorowania warunków, w jakich odbywa się obieg leków. Brak dostępnych rozwiązań prowadzi to sytuacji, kiedy pacjentom podaje się leki, które z powodu nieprawidłowych warunków przechowywania mogą nie wywierać efektów leczniczych, a w skrajnych sytuacjach wręcz szkodzić pacjentom. Problem jest szczególnie istotny w przypadku terapii onkologicznych.Projekt realizowany będzie w okresie 01.01.2019 r. 31.12.2020 r. Zakres projektu obejmuje 4 zadania, z których wszystkie stanowić będą eksperymentalne prace rozwojowe budowa modeli, symulacje numeryczne kluczowych elementów systemu, opracowanie i wykonanie prototypowego systemu, testy systemu w warunkach operacyjnych oddziału szpitalnego. Docelowy poziom gotowości technologicznej na zakończenie projektu to poziom IX.Efektem projektu będzie innowacja produktowa w skali Europy nowo opracowany kompletny system przechowywania i rejestrowania leków, gwarantujący zachowanie tzw. zimnej ścieżki od momentu dostarczenia leku do szpitala, aż po moment jego aplikacji pacjentowi. Tym samym Wnioskodawca dostarczy na rynek produkt, który pozwoli określić warunki przechowywania leków w szpitalu oraz odtworzyć kompletną ścieżkę obiegu leku od momentu przyjęcia do podania pacjentowi.Wnioskodawca jest producentem urządzeń chłodniczych i dokona samodzielnego wdrożenia powstałych rezultatów projektu. Po dokonaniu niezbędnych czynności związanych z wdrożeniem nowego produktu do regularnej produkcji, poszerzy on ofertę produktów Wnioskodawcy. (Polish)
