The main objective of the project is to support the development of natural tourism in the municipality of Łuków by building and making available the tourist and educational complex and strengthening the effectiveness of protection and promotion of the natural environment. One recreational and educational complex will be built called the “Amonite” recreational and educational community. It will include two tourist and recreational facilities used for natural tourism, including: exhibition hall of a natural geological nature and an ammonite complex, which will include tourist and educational trails, playground, etc. The length of the hiking trails will be 180 m, including: educational path: 85 m, bridge health path (including equipment): about 95 m. The technical infrastructure elements will also be implemented, including: a bus bay with access to the facility (including a wooden bridge), exit from the public road, access to the common room with an exhibition hall, parking (including two spaces for disabled persons), bicycle stand, portable toilets, lighting and fence. The entire area will be covered by a -hour visual monitoring system. It will be illuminated with 10 lamps with photovoltaic panels with batteries. The exhibition hall in the common room will be covered by the firefighting system. A website will be created which will be used for territorial marketing covering the whole area of Łuków commune, as well as the created tourist complex. A publication will also be published, which will describe in detail elements of the exhibition and geological phenomena (distribution free of charge among visitors). As a result of the project, the expected number of visits will increase by 10000 people per year. The target group is local residents and outside tourists interested in natural issues. Celem głównym projektu jest wspieranie rozwoju turystyki przyrodniczej na terenie Gminy Łuków poprzez budowę i udostępnienie kompleksu turystyczno - edukacyjnego oraz wzmocnienie efektywności ochrony i promocji walorów środowiska naturalnego. Zbudowany zostanie jeden kompleks rekreacyjno-edukacyjnego o nazwie LEŚNYZESPÓŁ REKREACYJNO-EDUKACYJNY "AMONIT". W jego ramach funkcjonowały będą dwa obiekty turystyczne i rekreacyjne wykorzystywane do turystyki przyrodniczej, w tym: sala wystawiennicza o charakterze przyrodniczo geologicznym oraz kompleks AMONIT, w którego skład wejdą szlaki turystyczne i edukacyjne, plac zabaw itp. Długość wybudowanych szlaków turystycznych wyniesie 180 m, w tym: ścieżka edukacyjna: 85 m, pomostowa ścieżka zdrowia (wraz z urządzeniami): ok.95 m. Zrealizowane zostaną również elementy infrastruktury technicznej obejmujące: zatokę autobusową z dojściami do obiektu (w tym drewniany mostek), zjazd z drogi publicznej, dojazd do świetlicy z salą ekspozycyjną, parking (w tym dwa miejsca dla osób niepełnosprawnych), stojak na rowery, przenośne toalety, oświetlenie oraz ogrodzenie terenu. Cały obszar objęty będzie całodobowym systemem monitoringu wizualnego. Oświetlany będzie 10 lampami z panelami fotowoltaicznymi z bateriami. Sala wystaw w budynku świetlicy objęta będzie systemem p.poż. Utworzona zostanie strona internetowa, która wykorzystywana będzie do marketingu terytorialnego dotyczącego całego obszaru Gminy Łuków, jak i utworzonego kompleksu turystycznego. Wydana zostanie również publikacja, która będzie opisywała szczegółowo elementy ekspozycji i zjawiska geologiczne (dystrybuowana bezpłatnie wśród zwiedzających). W wyniku realizacji projektu nastąpi wzrost oczekiwanej liczby odwiedzin o 10000 osób w ciągu roku. Grupą docelową są mieszkańcy gminy oraz turyści zewnętrzni, zainteresowani tematyką przyrodniczą.
