The main objective of the project is “Improving the state of sewage management in the municipality of Bełżec contributing to the improvement of ground and surface water status, minimising epidemiological risks and reducing environmental pollution”. The implementation of the project will enable the improvement of the technical infrastructure (expansion of the existing sewage treatment plant) and prevent environmental degradation, which forms the basis of the development potential of the municipality and significantly improves the quality of life of residents. The target group, which will benefit directly from the implementation of the project at the level of its implementation, will be: * residents of Bełżec commune * institutions and organisations located in the Bełżec commune * companies, entrepreneurs and persons conducting business activities within the Bełżec Commune * institutions and organisations located in the commune of Bełżec. The planned project includes the expansion of the sewage treatment plant in Bełżec. The aim of this action is to increase the capacity of the treatment plant to receive waste water from newly sewered areas. The extension will consist of the construction of another sewage treatment reactor, which will consist of two technological lines equipped with: denitrification chamber, nitrification chamber, vertical secondary settler with sludge scraper, excess sediment stabilisation chamber and return sediment pumping room common to both new strings. In addition, it is planned to build a silo for lime together with the necessary technological and energy installations. The following result indicators will be achieved as a result of the project: 1) Number of additional persons benefiting from improved waste water treatment – 520 persons, 2) The estimated number of persons benefiting from improved waste water treatment – 610 persons, 3) Number of reconstructed municipal waste water treatment plants – 1 units. 4) Waste cargo volume undergoing improved treatment – 2448 RLM. Celem głównym projektu jest "Poprawa stanu gospodarki ściekowej na terenie Gminy Bełżec przyczyniająca się do poprawy stanu wód gruntowych jak i powierzchniowych, minimalizacji zagrożeń epidemiologicznych oraz zmniejszenia zanieczyszczenia środowiska naturalnego". Realizacja projektu umożliwi poprawę stanu infrastruktury technicznej (rozbudowa istniejącej oczyszczalni ścieków) oraz zapobiegnie degradacji środowiska naturalnego, które stanowi podstawę potencjału rozwoju Gminy i wpływa zdecydowanie na podniesienie jakości życia mieszkańców. Grupą docelową, która odniesie bezpośrednie korzyści z realizacji projektu na poziomie jego realizacji będą: * mieszkańcy Gminy Bełżec * instytucje oraz organizacje znajdujące się w Gminie Bełżec * firmy, przedsiębiorcy oraz osoby prowadzące działalność gospodarczą w obrębie Gminie Bełżec * instytucje oraz organizacje znajdujące się na terenie Gminy Bełżec. Planowane przedsięwzięcie obejmuje rozbudowę oczyszczalni ścieków w miejscowości Bełżec. Powyższe działanie mają na celu zwiększenie przepustowości oczyszczalni umożliwiającej odbiór ścieków z nowo kanalizowanych obszarów. Rozbudowa polegać będzie na budowie kolejnego reaktora oczyszczania ścieków w skład którego będą wchodziły dwa ciągi technologiczne wyposażone w: komorę denitryfikacji, nitryfikacji, osadnik wtórny pionowy ze zgarniaczem osadu, komorę stabilizacji osadu nadmiernego oraz pompownię osadu powrotnego wspólną dla obu nowych ciągów. Dodatkowo planuje się zabudowę silosu na wapno wraz z niezbędnymi instalacjami technologicznymi i energetycznymi. W wyniku realizacji projektu zostaną osiągnięte poniższe wskaźniki rezultatu: 1) Liczba dodatkowych osób korzystających z ulepszonego oczyszczania ścieków - 520 osób, 2) Przewidywana liczba osób korzystających z ulepszonego oczyszczania ścieków - 610 osób, 3) Liczba przebudowanych oczyszczalni ścieków komunalnych - 1 szt. 4) Wielkość ładunku ścieków poddanych ulepszonemu oczyszczaniu - 2448 RLM.
