The subject of the project is the construction of a water supply network in the municipality of Dorohusk. The infrastructure network route will run through 7 towns covered by the project: Dobryłówka, Ludwinów, Okopy, Cologne, Rozkosz, Wólka Okopska and Zamieście. The project will be covered by residents (target group of the project) who do not have access to the water supply, supplying themselves with water (domestic wells dug or deep-sea). The majority of residents use transmission belts – which does not meet sanitary conditions and is burdensome in winter conditions. The low level of equipment of the municipality with water infrastructure leads to a deterioration of the living conditions of the inhabitants, a reduction in the investment attractiveness of the municipality and a deterioration of the natural environment. The project’s project results are primarily: 13598.5 m of newly built water supply network, access of 64 inhabitants of the municipality to running water, increasing the attractiveness of the municipality for future investors and tourists, improving the environment. The planned tasks in the project consist of carrying out construction works on the expansion of the new water supply network, launching services through which users will be able to conduct online transactions (including contracting, reading meters, charging, billing, comments and complaints, queries, availability of existing and new services, etc. within the existing ICT system operating in the municipality). All work will be carried out in a way that ensures environmental sustainability. The applicant informs that in the area covered by the project there is a proper management of the resulting impurities – home sewage treatment plants. (English)

Niski stan wyposażenia gminy w infrastrukturę wodociągową prowadzi do pogorszenia warunków życia mieszkańców, obniżenia atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej gminy oraz pogorszenia stanu środowiska naturalnego. (Polish)
