The subject of the project is the reconstruction and extension of DW 158 on sections in km 17 + 800.00-21 + 840.58 and 29+ 115.00-31+ 435.00 with a total length of 6.36 km. The planned investment is aimed at improving the technical condition of the surface and ensuring safety and comfort of vehicle traffic. The aim of the project is to improve the region’s external and internal transport accessibility in road traffic, improve access to motorways and expressways by increasing the standard and quality of the road network and road safety. The implementation of the project will contribute to strengthening the coherence of the Polish transport network with the transport systems of the EU countries, ensuring the cohesiveness of the country and individual regions with the European space. It is planned to achieve the new objectives: —Improved accessibility to major transport routes (TEN-T networks), especially to the S3 expressway. —Very good technical condition of the road reducing excessive fuel consumption, noise and exhaust emissions. —Extended and adjustable width of the road contributes to increased safety. —Improving the safety of traffic participants as a result of the construction/reconstruction of bus bays, pavements, illumination of pedestrian crossings and walking to public transport stops. —Increasing safety as a result of improved road dehydration (transverse falls) and removal of colliding trees. —Increasing investment attractiveness and economic activation of the region. — Facilitated communication access to the special economic zone and distribution and logistics centres in Gorzów Wlkp. and Drezdenk. —Increased mobility of residents. —Increasing the safety of residents and traffic participants on the rebuilt and expanded section of Voivodeship Road No. 158. The project’s stakeholders will be all users of public roads in the area of support. According to the SzOOP RPO-Lubuskie 2020 for Action 5.1 ‘Road transport’ does not specify the target groups directly benefiting (English)
