The subject of the project are R & D works leading to the development of magnesium chelation technology. The developed new active substance – chelated magnesium – will be used in the supplement of the new generation of diet. This supplement will allow the supply of magnesium in the form of chelate characterised by balanced parameters of the release time of magnesium ions and bioavailability, and consequently optimised influence in maintaining the proper level of magnesium in the body R & D activities leading to the development of magnesium chelation technology will include carrying out: industrial research in the field of: — selection of central metal precursor, – choice of chelator, – selection of synthetic path, – verification of synthetic path on a laboratory scale. b) experimental development work in the scope of: — verification of synthetic paths on a quarter-technical and semi-technical scale, – development of the final form of technology together with tests under real conditions. The project will allow to develop an innovative product – a new generation dietary supplement based on the use of new magnesium chelate. R & D works will allow for a stage of advancement of innovative solutions allowing them to market – as they include their tests and validation in the first production. Output indicators: Number of enterprises receiving support (C001): 1 Number of enterprises receiving grants (CO02): 1 Private investment complementing public support to enterprises (grants) (CO06): 357257,70 PLN Number of enterprises supported by R & D activities: 1 Number of R & D activities carried out: 1 Number of R & D projects implemented: 1 Direct result indicator: Number of commercialised R & D results carried out by the company in the framework of the project: 1 The dietary supplement developed as part of the project will be directed to the markets: Polish and foreign, both retail (sale under own brand (English)

    Przedmiotem projektu są prace B+R prowadzące do opracowania technologii chelatowania magnezu. Opracowana nowa substancja aktywna - chelatowany magnez - zostanie zastosowana w suplemencie diety nowej generacji. Suplement ten pozwoli na dostarczanie magnezu w formie chelatu charakteryzującego się zbalansowanymi parametrami czasu uwalniania jonów magnezu oraz biodostępności, i w konsekwencji zoptymalizowanym wpływem w zakresie utrzymywania właściwego poziomu magnezu w organizmie Prace B+R prowadzące do opracowania technologii chelatowania magnezu będą obejmowały przeprowadzenie: a) badań przemysłowych w zakresie: - wyboru prekursora metalu centralnego, - wyboru chelatora, - wyboru ścieżki syntetycznej, - weryfikacji ścieżki syntetycznej w skali laboratoryjnej. b) eksperymentalnych prac rozwojowych w zakresie: - weryfikacji ścieżki syntetycznej w skali ćwierćtechnicznej i półtechnicznej, - opracowania ostatecznej postaci technologii wraz z testami w warunkach rzeczywistych. Projekt pozwoli na opracowanie innowacyjnego w skali świata produktu - suplementu diety nowej generacji opartego na wykorzystaniu nowego chelatu magnezu. Prace B+R pozwolą na uzyskanie etapu zaawansowania innowacyjnych rozwiązań pozwalającego na ich urynkowienie - obejmują bowiem ich testy i walidację w ramach pierwszej produkcji.
