The object of the project is to modernise and restore the original functions of the Rondo cinema, which is excluded from use due to poor technical condition. The objectives of this project are to stop the degradation of the object covered by the Municipal Programme of the Protection of Monuments and the restoration of the function of Rondo cinema with a new function of animation and cultural activation, which is also in line with the assumption of the “Strategy of the Development Strategy of the Region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship by 2020- Plan of Modernisation 2020+”, which assumes that cultural objects are to be multifunctional and perform the functions of the cultural centre. It will also resume its activities related to the spread of culture. The project plans to perform works outside the building and its interior with the installation of projection equipment. Lokalizacja projektu: Chełmno, ul. Dworcowa 23 a, Powiat chełmiński,Gmina Miasto Chełmno, Obręb ewid.: 0002,2, Nr działki: 73/1. Przedmiotem projektu jest modernizacja i przywrócenie pierwotnych funkcji obiektowi kultury- kinoteatrowi Rondo, wyłączonemu z użytkowania ze względu na zły stan techniczny. Założenia przedmiotowego projektu zmierzają do zatrzymania degradacji obiektu objętego Gminnym Programem Opieki nad Zabytkami oraz odtworzenia funkcji kinoteatru Rondo wraz z nadaniem mu nowej funkcji animacji i aktywizacji kulturalnej, co jest też zgodne z założeniem zapisów „Strategii Rozwoju Województwa Kujawsko-Pomorskiego do roku 2020- Plan Modernizacji 2020+”, która zakłada, że obiekty kultury mają być multifunkcjonalne i pełnić zadania placówek rozwoju społecznego.Tym samym można uznać że Chełmiński Dom Kultury rozpocznie działalność w nowym obszarze animacji i aktywizacji kulturalnej, co stanie się jego kompetencją kluczową- unikalną na mapie zarówno Miasta, jak i Powiatu. Ponownie też zacznie realizować zadania związane z upowszechnieniem kultury. W ramach projektu planuje sie wykonanie prac na zewnątrz budynku oraz jego wnętrzu wraz z instalacją urządzeń projekcyjnych.
