Dotychczasowe metody odłowu herpetofauny nakazane przez dyrektywy unijne i transponowane do decyzji środowiskowych określających warunki dla wykonawców robót budowlanych, powodują dużą śmiertelność wśród osobników odławianych w żywołapkach. Celem projektu jest badanie dotychczasowej skuteczności używanych pułapek żywołownych. Następnie zaprojektowanie nowych, innowacyjnych pułapek żywołownych i w kolejnym etapie poddanie próbie zaprojektowanych prototypów aby finalnie porównać efekt zmniejszenia śmiertelności w stosunku do próby zerowej. Celem finalnym projektu jest stworzenie nowej pułapki żywołownej, która zmniejszy śmiertelność i spowoduje zmniejszenie negatywnego oddziaływania budowanej inwestycji na środowisko.[...] (Polish)
