    W ramach projektu zaplanowano przebudowę ul. Chopina od skrzyżowania al. 500-lecia Torunia do skrzyżowania z al. św. Jana Pawła II, przebudowę al. św. Jana Pawła od mostu im. J. Piłsudskiego do Placu Niepodległości wraz z placem oraz ul. Wały gen. Sikorskiego od Pl. Artylerii Polskiej do skrzyżowania z al. Solidarności bez tego skrzyżowania. Ponadto zaprojektowano przebudowę krótkiego odcinka torowiska w ul. Kraszewskiego oraz w ul. Czerwona Droga. W ramach tej inwestycji zaplanowano budowę jezdni o nawierzchni bitumicznej i kamiennej, budowę chodników, ścieżek rowerowych, zjazdów oraz 7 peronów tramwajowych, a także przejść i przejazdów przez torowisko. W ul. Chopina, al. św. Jana Pawła II oraz dalej w ul. Kraszewskiego i ul. Czerwona Droga torowisko zaplanowano jako wydzielone z jezdni. W ul. Wały gen. Sikorskiego torowisko zaprojektowano jako zintegrowane z jezdnią w środku jej przekroju. Sumaryczna długość projektowanego torowiska wynosi 2+748,989 metrów toru pojedynczego.Przewidziano przebudowę istniejących sygnalizacji świetlnych oraz budowę sygnalizacji świetlnej wzbudzanej przez tramwaj na wszystkich przejazdach tramwajowych i przejściach przez torowisko. Przewidziano budowę sygnalizacji świetlnej na skrzyżowaniach al. św. Jana Pawła II z ulicami: Fryderyka Chopina, Wały gen. Sikorskiego oraz Czerwona Droga / Józefa Kraszewskiego. (Polish)
