Celem projektu jest poszerzanie wiedzy ogólnej i specjalistycznej oraz rozwój zainteresowań z fizyki (kryt. dost. 6)wśród 210dzieci i młodzieży (90K / 120M) uczących się w szkołach podstawowych i ponadpodstawowych na obszarze województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego. Przewidziane jest opracowanie programów i realizacja kursów dwojakiego rodzaju:1) interdyscyplinarne i interaktywne wykłady z fizyki, 2) warsztaty naukowew zakresie fizyki i astronomii.Kursy zostaną przeprowadzone przez dydaktyków fizyki z Wydziału Fizyki, Astronomii i Informatyki Stosowanej Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (WFAiIS UMK) będącego wyższą uczelnią publiczną (kryt. dost. 1). Realizacja projektu przyczyni się do podniesienia kompetencji uczestników objętych działaniami dydaktycznymi w zakresie wiedzy ogólnej i specjalistycznej z obszaru nauk przyrodniczych. W szczególności działania w projekcie zapewnią uczestnikom zdobycie nowych umiejętności i kompetencji takich, jak logiczne myśleniei formułowanie wniosków, które są niezbędne w życiu społecznym i zawodowym (kryt. dost. 5). Projekt realizowany będzie w partnerstwie z Gminą Miasta Toruń [GMT], która zaangażuje młodzież szkół ponadpodstawowych z obszaru miasta Torunia w działania naukowe i ich promocję (kryt. dost. 2). Ponadto wsparciem objęci zostaną uczniowie z pięciuszkół spoza Torunia: Szkoła Podstawowa im. Ziemi Kujawskiej w Dąbrowie Biskupiej, Szkoła Podstawowa nr 2 w Brusach, Zespół szkół nr 4 im. Ziemii Dobrzyńskiej w Nadrożu,Liceum Ogólnokształcąceim. Tadeusza Kotarbińskiego w Sępólnie KrajeńskimorazSzkoła Podstawowa im. A. A. Michelsona w Strzelnie, z którymi WFAiIS UMK od lat prowadzi ścisłą, choć nieformalną współpracę. It is planned to develop programmes and the implementation of two types of courses: 1) Interdisciplinary and interactive lectures in physics, 2) scientific workshops in the field of physics and astronomy.The courses will be conducted by physics teachers from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (WFAiIS UMK), which is a higher public university (crit. 1. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving the competences of participants covered by teaching activities in the field of general and specialist knowledge in the field of natural sciences. In particular, actions in the project will ensure that participants acquire new skills and competences, such as logical thinking and formulating conclusions that are necessary in social and professional life (criteria). 5. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Toruń [GMT], which will involve the youth of secondary schools from the city of Toruń in scientific activities and their promotion (crit. 2. In addition, students from five schools outside Torun will be supported: Primary School of Kuyavian Land in Dąbrowa Biskupia, Primary School No. 2 in Brusy, School No. 4 in Nadroż, High School No. 4 in Nadroż. Tadeusz Kotarbinski in Sępólna Krajeński and the A. A. Michelson Primary School in Strzelno with whom WFAiIS UMK has been working closely, albeit informally, for years.
