Projekt obejmuje budowę czterech magistrali GPON w architekturze FTTH dla 2283 gospodarstw domowych oraz 7 placówek edukacyjnych zlokalizowanych w 27 miejscowościach z terenów gminy Główczyce, Ustka oraz Smołdzino. Istotą projektu jest wyeliminowanie terytorialnych różnic w możliwości dostępu do szerokopasmowego Internetu o wysokich przepustowościach na obszarze powiatu słupskiego oraz zapewnienie dostępu do usług Społeczeństwa Informacyjnego mieszkańcom terenów, obecnie pozbawionych nowoczesnych sieci NGA.
