Land project of more than 200 ha, located in Warsaw, which is degraded and contaminated sites as potential urban green spaces. The main objective of the project is an inventory and the valorisation of selected unused land for use in the system of urban green spaces. The project will also analyse the perception of uncultivated land in the social environment.Activities such as examination of:the level of treatment of non-target vegetation, the contamination of particulate matter, the level of phytoremediation of metallic impurities (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Ce, Ni), the level of oxygen production in relation to the reference areas, as well as the potential of eco-logging and the ambient analysis will make it possible to identify the factors determining the quality of rest.Such recognition will allow for the creation of a model identifying opportunities in recreational and natural uses.Research results will also allow the development of strategies for the rehabilitation of all unused land in the W-knows.Preparatory work will consist of selecting sites and preparing starting materials and tools for appropriate testing.Accurate soil studies will be carried out at certified research stations. On this basis, areas will be inventoried mainly in terms of the extent of their degradation, but also of the natural and social potential. The development will allow a later, more accurate estimation of the costs of the remediation of the uncultivated land and to convert them into green areas. The tests to be carried out on the premises of more than 500 parcels of a total area of more than 200 ha, located in the area of all 18 districts of W-wa, will be produced. Projekt dot. terenów o pow. ponad 200 ha, położonych w m.st. Warszawie, stanowiących zdegradowane i zanieczyszczone obszary, będące potencjalnymi terenami zieleni miejskiej. (Polish)
