Misją Centrum Badawczo-Rozwojowego będą prace badawcze i rozwojowe nad opracowaniem, doskonaleniem, walidacją, wdrażaniem i komercjalizacją innowacyjnych sposobów na magazynowanie energii ciepła, chłodu i energii elektrycznej w układzie współpracy z systemami OZE dedykowanych do długoterminowego przechowywania energii i jej wykorzystania w okresie niekorzystnych czynników otoczenia. Z założenia misji wynika, że produkty prac B+R prowadzonych w Centrum będą przewyższały obecne rozwiązania pod względem nowatorstwa; redukcji nakładów energii i emisji CO2 do atmosfery; bezpieczeństwa środowiskowego (Polish)
