Reference number of the aid programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L. I'm sorry. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The aim of the project is to co-finance R & D projects in the early stages of development – proof-of-principle and/or proof-of-concept projects to increase the supply of R & D projects attractive to venture capital and/or private equity investors. The Fund will analyse, select and provide substantive and financial support for technological projects based on unique intellectual value, related to R & D and commercialisation of their results. The mission of the Fund is to develop, based on best practices, cooperation between the science sector and the private sector already at the initial stages of R & D projects in order to strengthen the processes of commercialisation and contribute to the growth of innovation of the Polish economy based on modern technologies. The developed mechanisms of cooperation between innovation ecosystem actors allow to combine in the early stages of technology development a variety of fields of competence, maximising the chances for commercial success of supported R & D projects. The Fund will actively create entrepreneurial attitudes in the science sector and deepen the interest of researchers in commercialising R & D projects by creating a platform for cooperation with the business world and providing the knowledge and tools necessary for effective technology transfer. In the implementation of the Investment Strategy of the Fund, the Management Team will support a wide range of mentors and experts (scientists, experienced entrepreneurs and industry specialists), who will be involved in the due diligence process of R & D projects and the development of portfolio companies throughout the investment cycle. Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). W realizacji Strategii Inwestycyjnej Funduszu, Zespół Zarządzający wspierać będzie szerokie grono mentorów i ekspertów (naukowców, doświadczonych przedsiębiorców i specjalistów branżowych), którzy angażowani będą w proces due diligence projektów B+R i rozwój spółek portfelowych w całym cyklu inwestycyjnym.
