Reference number of the aid programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L. I'm sorry. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The aim of the project is to create an integrated SGS platform for online gaming services based on cloud container solutions. This platform will be a comprehensive solution supporting game developers – it provides tools for fast and comprehensive game creation from the network layer, to high-level modules implementing the most recurring functionalities, in addition, it will allow operational teams to manage new container infrastructure on a cloud scale easier. As a result of the research work GameDesire will significantly improve the process of creating multiplayer games. Key research issues: 1. obtain the maximum scaling factor of servers with which the capacity of servers is increased by adding additional instances, 2. enable to write game logic in many different languages, both scripted and compiled 3. develop an efficient two-way mechanism for calling methods from the server code to the & logic code. from low-level „ language for a higher level of „ 4. ensure efficient transfer between all modules and the server and other platform components. The current solutions do not address the process of creating the game comprehensively. There are several platforms with individual capabilities, but none of them realises all the functionalities that are planned to be implemented within the project by GameDesire The aim of the project will be achieved by carrying out R & D works consisting of: —elements of the complex system SGSamp;communication protocol and communication bus -modules which are separate services implementing specific -u mechanisms (English)

    Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Przedmiotem projektu jest stworzenie zintegrowanej platformy SGS usług sieciowych dla gier w oparciu o rozwiązania kontenerowe w chmurze. Platforma ta będzie kompleksowym rozwiązaniem wspierającym game developerów - zapewnia narzędzia do szybkiego i kompleksowego tworzenia gier od warstwy sieciowej, po wysoko poziomowe moduły realizujące najczęściej powtarzające się funkcjonalności, dodatkowo, pozwoli zespołom operacyjnym łatwiej zarządzać nową infrastrukturą kontenerową w skali chmurowej. W wyniku prac badawczych GameDesire znacząco usprawni proces tworzenia gier typu multiplayer. Kluczowe zagadnienia badawcze: 1. uzyskanie maksymalnego współczynnika skalowania serwerów, z jakim zwiększa się pojemność serwerów wraz dokładaniem kolejnych instancji, 2. umożliwienie pisania logiki gry w wielu różnych językach, zarówno skryptowych jak i kompilowanych 3. opracowanie wydajnego mechanizmu dwukierunkowego wywoływania metod z kodu serwera do kodu logiki – z „niskopoziomowego” języka do języka „wyższego poziomu” 4. zapewnienie efektywnego transferu pomiędzy wszystkimi modułami a serwerem i pozostałymi komponentami platformy. Obecne rozwiązania nie podchodzą do zagadnienia procesu powstawania gry kompleksowo. Istnieje kilka platform o pojedynczych możliwościach, jednak żadna z nich nie realizuje wszystkich funkcjonalności, które są zaplanowane do realizacji w ramach projektu przez GameDesire Cel projektu zostanie osiągnięty przez realizację prac B+R polegających na opracowaniu: -elementów systemu złożonego SGS–protokołu komunikacyjnego i szyny komunikacyjnej -modułów będących osobnymi usługami implementującymi określone mechanizmy -u (Polish)
