The project involves carrying out R & D works leading to the development of a portable NOx measurement module using chemiluminescence – an innovative product in the country called Manox CLD. The method for measuring nitrogen oxide concentrations by chemiluminescence method has been defined as the ‘standard reference method (SRM)’ by European standards (PN-EN 14792:2017-04 Emission from stationary sources – Determination of nitrogen oxide mass concentration – Standard reference method: chemiluminescence) for portable automatic measuring systems. The research planned in the project is intended to replace the existing method of measurement of nitrogen oxides (non-dispersive infrared spectroscopy in NDIR) by chemiluminescence and, ultimately, to market a product that will be used in systems installed in chimneys for control purposes, but also in monitoring the process of energy generation in the combustion of fuels or the control of low-carbon production processes. The project includes design, construction and testing of the prototype of the first production version of the Manox CLD module. The results of R & D will be implemented in the economic practice of the applicant, who plans to start production and then offer the results of the project in the form of a module to date and newly acquired customers of the company. The module will be sold as retrofitting of photon measurement systems already owned by Madur customers, and as a component of newly sold Photons. (English)

Metoda pomiaru stężeń tlenków azotu metodą chemiluminescencji została określona jako "standardowa metoda odniesienia (SRM)" przez standardy europejskie (PN-EN 14792:2017-04 Emisja ze źródeł stacjonarnych -Oznaczanie stężenia masowego tlenków azotu - Standardowa metoda odniesienia: chemiluminescencja) dla przenośnych automatycznych systemów pomiarowych. Przeprowadzenie zaplanowanych w projekcie badań ma pozwolić na zastąpienie dotychczasowej metody pomiarów tlenków azotu (niedyspersyjnej spektroskopii w podczerwieni NDIR) metodą chemiluminescencji a w ostatecznym efekcie, wprowadzić na rynek produkt, który znajdzie zastosowanie w systemach instalowanych w kominach do celów kontrolnych, ale także przy monitorowaniu procesu pozyskiwania energii w procesie spalania paliw czy kontroli niskoemisyjności procesów produkcyjnych. W projekcie przewidziano prace projektowe, budowę i przebadanie prototypu pierwszej wersji produkcyjnej modułu MANOX CLD. Nastąpi wdrożenie wyników prac B+R w praktyce gospodarczej wnioskodawcy, który planuje rozpoczęcie produkcji a następnie oferowanie rezultatów projektu w postaci modułu dotychczasowym i nowo pozyskanym klientom firmy. Moduł będzie sprzedawany jako doposażenie systemów pomiarowych Photon będących już w posiadaniu klientów Madur, oraz jako składowa nowo sprzedawanych Photonów. (Polish)
