The subject of the project is the development of a new product and a method of production of ultralight automotive composite rim (collectively called rim), which will allow easy scalability of production. Thanks to the development of a unique material technology, both the weight and the final price of the product will be highly competitive compared to similar solutions in the composite rim market. Fibratech plans to develop textiles made of carbon, glass and aramid fiber. By selecting the appropriate material technology, based on the results of numerical calculations, it will be possible to ensure the transfer of forces occurring in the rim structure according to force tensors, which are the superposition of selected load cases, simulating the strength tests of car rims, complying with the standards. The project’s tasks will include: —development of dedicated textiles for the purpose of composite car rim, with reduced weight and low production cost, -modification of textiles and improvement of resins (glass temperature coated. 200 °C), -development of a pilot production line, enabling series production of composite rims, -validation of the product and operation of the pilot production line, based on test results and the opinions of the target audience on the basis of the first pre-implementation and pre-production lots. After analysing and reviewing available industry reports, 2 target groups were identified. Direct: manufacturers of car rims and intermediate rims: manufacturers of cars, in particular sports (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Persche) and electric cars (e.g. Dyson design). The advantage and motivation for the second group is to reduce the weight of unresored and rotary vehicles, which translates into a variable (English)

Przedmiotem projektu jest opracowanie nowego produktu oraz metody produkcji ultralekkiej samochodowej obręczy kompozytowej (potocznie zwanej felgą), która umożliwi łatwą skalowalność produkcji. Dzięki opracowaniu unikalnej technologii wykonania materiału zarówno waga, jak i cena finalna produktu będą odznaczać się wysoką konkurencyjnością w stosunku do podobnych rozwiązań na rynku felg kompozytowych. Fibratech planuje opracowanie tekstyliów, wykonanych z włókna węglowego, szklanego i aramidowego. Poprzez dobór odpowiedniej technologii wykonania materiału, bazując na wynikach obliczeń numerycznych, możliwe będzie zapewnienie przenoszenia sił występujących w strukturze obręczy według tensorów sił, będących superpozycją wyselekcjonowanych przypadków obciążeniowych, symulujących testy wytrzymałościowe obręczy samochodowych, zgodnych z normami. Zadania w projekcie będą obejmowały: -opracowanie dedykowanych tekstyliów dla potrzeb kompozytowej obręczy samochodowej, o obniżonej masie oraz niskim koszcie produkcji, -zmodyfikowanie tekstyliów i ulepszenie żywic (temperatura zeszklenia pow. 200 st.
