The subject of the project is to carry out research and development on the development of an integrated system of dual monitoring of the dangers of corrosion and hydrogen absorption in oil refining. The objectives of the project are to: 1. Reaching level IX of technological readiness. 2. Implementation of research results after the end of the R & D project. Currently, the concept and future application of the technology are defined, and the basic components of technology are also known. The project’s objective will be achieved through industrial research and development planned in the project. The project will be implemented within 36 months, within three stages of work: Prescribing tests (24 m): Step 1 – laboratory tests, 18 m; Step 2 – laboratory scale testing of the prototype, 12 m including part in parallel with Stage 1; DEVELOPMENT: Step 3 – development of a complete prototype monitoring system, demonstration, validation and optimisation in real conditions, 12 m; PKN ORLEN will provide for the project the resources to be successfully completed, such as: — research and management staff experienced in the implementation of R & D projects; — the test laboratory and the necessary equipment; — cooperation with subcontractors of parts of R & D works (Department of Chemistry of the Gdańsk University of Technology); — necessary financial resources. The project will result in the implementation of, in the activities of PKN ORLEN, the world’s first integrated system of dual monitoring of corrosion and hydrogenation for the refinery industry. Thanks to the innovation developed, it will be possible to reduce or completely eliminate the probability of failure to stop the installation caused by corrosion and/or hydrogen absorption. Przedmiotem projektu jest przeprowadzenie prac badawczo-rozwojowych dotyczących opracowania, innowacyjnego w skali świata i kraju, zintegrowanego systemu dualnego monitorowania zagrożenia związanego z korozją i absorbcją wodoru w rafinacji ropy naftowej. Cele projektu to: 1. Osiągnięcie IX poziomu gotowości technologicznej. 2. Wdrożenie rezultatów badań po zakończeniu projektu B+R. Obecnie, określona została koncepcja oraz przyszłe zastosowanie technologii, znane są również podstawowe komponenty technologii. Cel projektu zostanie osiągnięty dzięki zaplanowanym w projekcie badaniom przemysłowym i pracom rozwojowym. Projekt realizowany będzie w okresie 36 miesięcy, w ramach trzech etapów prac: BADANIA PRZEMYSŁOWE (24m): Etap 1 – badania laboratoryjne, 18m; Etap 2 – badania prototypu w skali laboratoryjnej, 12m, w tym część równolegle z Etapem 1; PRACE ROZWOJOWE: Etap 3 – opracowanie pełnego prototypowego systemu monitorowania, demonstracja, walidacja i optymalizacja w warunkach rzeczywistych, 12m; PKN ORLEN zapewni na potrzeby projektu zasoby, dzięki którym możliwe będzie zakończenie prac z sukcesem, takich jak: - doświadczona w realizacji projektów B+R kadra badawcza i zarządzająca; - laboratorium badawcze wraz z niezbędnym wyposażeniem; - współpraca z podwykonawcami części prac B+R (Wydział Chemiczny Politechniki Gdańskiej); - niezbędne środki finansowe. Efektem realizacji projektu będzie wdrożenie, w działalności PKN ORLEN, pierwszego na świecie, zintegrowanego systemu dualnego monitorowania procesu korozji i uwodornienia dla przemysłu rafineryjnego. Dzięki opracowanej innowacji, stworzona zostanie możliwość redukcji lub całkowitego wyeliminowania prawdopodobieństwa awaryjnego zatrzymania instalacji spowodowanego korozją i/lub absorpcją wodoru.
