The basis of long-term storage gasoline production technology is access to a methodology for forecasting the stability of petrol before storage. This methodology will be developed on the basis of accelerated chemical degradation tests, modelling the following factors: temperature, time and presence of brine. The tests will be performed for the composition of petrol, assuming that it will be a product with high resistance to degradation under the influence of physico-chemical factors. The technology will be developed in the field of industrial research, during which methods will be developed to monitor the intensity of changes in the quality of petrol using tests: chemical analysis, measurement of physical properties and instrumental methods. On the other hand, in the development part, the technology will be developed for the production of final petrol on the basis of petrol from storage. The technology will aim to develop the formulation of petrol for use in spark-ignition engines. The project, including industrial research and development, has been divided into 4 stages and will result in a product ready to be placed in the caverns. The project provides for four milestones to be achieved in the following stages: 1. Method of forecasting the stability of petrol for long-term storage in salt caverns. 2. Gasoline production technology for storage in salt caverns without the need to rotate the stored fuel. 3. Technology for the production of final petrol using petrol after storage and use of processing additives. 4. Method of monitoring the quality of petrol stored in salt caverns. Implementation of the project results will take place through industrial production approx. 25, mamp;sup3; petrol and its introduction into the existing salt cavern used by the Applicant (English)

Technologia będzie zmierzała do opracowania formulacji benzyny przystosowanej do stosowania w silnikach z zapłonem iskrowym. Projekt, obejmujący badania przemysłowe i prace rozwojowe, podzielony został na 4 etapy i zakończy się uzyskaniem produktu gotowego do umieszczenia w kawernach. W projekcie przewidziano cztery kamienie milowe, osiągane w kolejnych etapach: 1. Metoda prognozowania stabilności benzyn kierowanych do długoterminowego magazynowania w kawernach solnych. 2. Technologia produkcji benzyn do magazynowania w kawernach solnych bez konieczności rotacji składowanego paliwa. 3. Technologia produkcji benzyn finalnych z wykorzystaniem benzyn po magazynowaniu i zastosowaniu dodatków uszlachetniających. 4. Sposób monitorowania jakości benzyn magazynowanych w kawernach solnych. Wdrożenie wyników projektu nastąpi poprzez produkcję przemysłową ok. 25 tys. m³ benzyny oraz jej wprowadzenie do istniejącej, wykorzystywanej przez Wnioskodawcę kawerny sol (Polish)
