    Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) zkoumá neprobádané části kosmického záření tzv. gama fotonů. V rámci současného výzkumu mezinárodního projektu CTA je v ČR využívána neúplná infrastruktura (FZÚ v Praze a Olomouci, Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci) vybudovaná v minulém období. Tuto infrastrukturu je nutné dobudovat tak, aby mohly být splněny závazky ČR vůči projektu CTA, kde má ČR unikátní postavení. Tento projekt představuje dobudování stávající infrastruktury v ČR pro specifika projektu CTA. a. (Czech)
