Following a territorial diagnosis which enabled us to identify objectives related to the development of digital technology (and the associated economic and social issues), the Community of communes of Val d’Amboise decided to launch the realisation of a collaborative and community digital platform, designed and implemented, sub-formed by “Third Places”, in order to: — to develop the uses of digital services for the benefit of the greatest number of users – to facilitate the creation of new uses and innovative services. This platform will be accessible, from several counters distributed throughout the territory, by all local public and private actors, professionals or individuals. It is composed of the two complementary and inseparable subsets: 1. A creative and digital manufacturing workshop: FabLab (project economic component) 2. A digital mediation area consisting of access points distributed throughout the territory, and complementary to the central site that hosts the FabLab (social e-inclusion component) The intended beneficiaries: Professionals (enterprises, craftsmen, self-employed, creators, groups) individuals (all public, unemployed, young people, seniors), public authorities (schools, tourist offices, local authorities,...) and associations This project should contribute to a better appropriation of digital tools by different audiences; increase the number of third-party users and diversify digital communities (English)
