Global and national tourism is growing. However, tourism in the Region of Zealand is lagging behind in relation to both an international and national benchmark. This initiative addresses three of the main challenges; A low degree of digitisation and lack of growth among enterprises, as well as a lack of coherence among the companies and the overall supply of products. This project introduces a 2-year programme targeted priority segments (mainly German holidaymakers outside the season; secondary guests from the capital in the form of international tourists on an excursion from the capital, as well as Danish holiday and business tourists).
