Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Będzie się on cechował wysoką skutecznością, znacznie ograniczonymi działaniami niepożądanymi i niskim kosztem. Projekt obejmie badania kliniczne fazy I i IIa kandydata leczniczego. W celu ograniczenia ryzyka, wyłoniony zostanie także strukturalnie inny związek rezerwowy tzw. „back-up candidate”. Kandydat kliniczny to bardzo aktywny i bezpieczny inhibitor kwaśnej chitynazy ssaków (ang. AMCase), enzymu, którego nasilone wytwarzanie w płucach chorych pełni ważną rolę w patogenezie astmy. Związek został odkryty przez Wnioskodawcę w projekcie pt.: „Opracowanie selektywnych inhibitorów kwaśnej chitynazy ssaków do leczenia astmy” (1.4 PO IG). Ma on unikatowy mechanizm działania, wysoką aktywność in vitro i in vivo, atrakcyjny profil farmakokinetyczny i nie wykazuje istotnych działań ubocznych. Związek wykazał również aktywność w mysim modelu nieswoistych chorób zapalnych jelit (ang. IBD). Dlatego dodatkowym celem projektu jest potwierdzenie jego działania w różnych modelach zwierzęcych tej choroby i zarejestrowanie do badań klinicznych u chorych na IBD. (Polish)

Reference_reference_programme_aids:SA.41471 (2015/X) _public:Article 25 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Article 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ(OJ LEU L 187/1, 26.06.2014).The project focuses on innovative medical treatment of asthma, chronic inflammatory disease, affecting around the world.300 million people.Asthma treatment includes the administration of an ad hoc bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory drugs.Studies (GlobalData) point to the fact that, despite many medicines on the market, asthma remains an unmet medical need in terms of effectiveness, adverse effects and costs. In the light of the above, the main aim of the project is to pre-demonstrate a therapeutic effect to a new candidate in medicine. It will be characterised by a high degree of efficiency, limited adverse reactions and low cost. The project will include the clinical trials I and IIa of the medicinal candidate. In order to reduce the risk, a structurally different link will also be selected.“Back-up candodate”.Clinical candidate is a very active and safe and safe mammalian apnoea inhibitorAMBPC), an enzyme which plays an important role in asthma pathogenesis. The link has been discovered by the Applicant in the project:“Elaboration of selective acid chips of mammalian chitosan for the treatment of asthma” (1.4 OP IG).It has a unique mechanism for action, high in vitro and in vivo activity, an attractive pharmacokinetic profile and does not show significant side effects. The compound has also been shown to be active in the mouse model.IBD).Therefore, the additional objective of the project is to confirm its operation in the different animal models of the disease and to register for clinical trials in the IBD.
