    Cílem projektu je výstavba komunikace pro pěší a cyklisty, která je logicky vedena v souběhu se základní dopravní osou celého Zlína, třídou T. Bati, která zároveň plní i funkci průtahu silnice I/49 městem. Cyklotrasa bude plnit sběrnou funkci a zajišťovat z hlediska cyklodopravy propojení obytné zástavby ve východní části města s jeho centrální částí, současně představuje variantu propojení centrální části s páteřní cyklotrasou Zlín - Otrokovice - Vizovice.     The aim of the project is to build communication for pedestrians and cyclists, which is being developed in conjunction with the basic transport axis of the whole of Zlín, the class of T. Bati, which also serves as the road for road I/49 by the city. The cycle route will fulfil the mopping up function and ensure, from the point of view of the cycle, the integration of residential installation in the eastern part of the town with its central part, as well as a variant of linking the central part with the back cycle route Zlin — Otrokovice — Vitovice.
