Projekt zakłada rozbudowę i modernizację mechaniczno-biologicznej oczyszczalni ścieków w Świętej Katarzynie. Oczyszczalnia ta o przepustowości 150 m3/d została wybudowana w 1998r. Początkowo obsługiwała tylko mieszkańców Świętej Katarzyny. W ciągu ostatnich kilku lat wybudowano ok. 30 km sieci kanalizacji sanitarnej i obecnie doprowadzane są tu ścieki z Wilkowa oraz msc. Krajno-Zagórze sąsiedniej gminy Górno. Spowodowało to przekroczenia wielkości zrzutu ścieków. Obecnie Gmina płaci kary nakładane przez WIOŚ za naruszenie warunków pozwolenia wodnoprawnego, w zakresie ilości odprowadzanych ścieków do wód. Od czasu budowy, tj. od 1998r. oczyszczalnia nie była poddawana większym remontom. Z uwagi na rozbudowę sieci kanalizacyjnej, rozwój budownictwa jednorodzinnego oraz coraz większą liczbę turystów, miejsc noclegowych oraz usług związanych z obsługą ruchu turystycznego, konieczna jest rozbudowa istniejącej oczyszczalni do 650m3/d i RLM 2605 (wraz z zapewnieniem rezerwy na nowym obiekcie związanej z rozwojem aglomeracji). Planowane zastosowanie technologi membranowej zakłada osiągnięcie efektów zgodnych z wymaganiami również w zakresie oczyszczenia fosforu i azotu. Ma to znaczenie z uwagi na lokalizację oczyszczalni, która położona jest na terenie Świętokrzyskiego Obszaru Chronionego Krajobrazu, w bliskiej odległości (0,35 km) od Świętokrzyskiego Parku Narodowego. Odbiornikiem oczyszczonych ścieków jest rów melioracyjny dopływający do Grabowej, a następnie zasilający zbiornik wodny w Wilkowie. Technologia MBR zapewni dodatkowo, że ścieki pozbawione będą bakterii oraz większości wirusów, co nie jest bez znaczenia dla osób korzystających z kąpieliska w Wilkowie. Rozbudowa oczyszczalni rozwiąże problem ponadnormatywnego zrzutu ścieków oraz zwiększy odsetek ludności korzystającej z systemu oczyszczania ścieków zgodnego z dyrektową dot. ścieków komunalnych. Liczba dodatkowych osób korzystających z ulepszonego oczyszczania ścieków (RLM) (CI 19) wyniesie 1410. (Polish)

The project involves the extension and modernisation of a mechanical and biological sewage treatment plant in Saint Katarzyna. This plant with a capacity of 150 m³/d was built in 1998. It was originally only served by residents of Saint Katarzyna. Over the last few years, around 5 years has been built around 30 km of the sewerage network and the waste water from Wilkowa and msc are now taken here. Krajno-Zagórze a neighbouring municipality of Górno. This has resulted in the volume of waste water discharged being exceeded. Currently, the municipality pays the fines imposed by the WIOŚ for infringement of the conditions of the water permit, in terms of the quantities of water discharged into water. Since construction, the plant has not undergone major renovation since 1998. Due to the extension of the sewage system, the development of single-family buildings and the increasing number of tourists, bed places and services linked to tourist traffic, it is necessary to extend the existing treatment plant to 650 m³/d and to the population of 2605 (with a provision for the new establishment linked to the development of the agglomeration). The intended use of the membrane technology involves achieving the requirements also for the treatment of phosphorus and nitrogen. This is relevant in view of the location of the WWTP which is located in the Świętokrzyski area of the Protected Landscape Area, in close proximity (0.35 km) from the Holy Cross of the National Park. The receiver of the treated waste water is a drainage ditch adding to the rebate, and then the supply of water supply to the reservoir in the Wilkowie. The MBR technology will also ensure that waste waters are free of bacteria and most viruses, which is not negligible for those using bathing waters in Wilków. The extension of the plant will solve the problem of transboundary wastewater discharges and will increase the share of the population using a waste water treatment system in accordance with the Urban Waste Water Directive. The number of additional persons benefiting from improved wastewater treatment (p.e.) (CI 19) will be 1410. (English)
