    Project will be response to the poor access to the health care system in the provision of diagnostics and treatment in oncourological diseases in Białystok and Grodno regions. Used or insufficient treatment base and insufficient knowledge about prophylaxis result in much higher than in EU mortality and lower quality of life. The project overall objective is to improve the quality of life of Białystok and Grodno regions inhabitants through facilitation of access to health care system in onco-urological diseases. The result of project realization will be enhanced access to health care in the provision of diagnostics and treatment in diagnostics and treatment in onco-urological diseases. In order to support the development of public health 10 events will be organized: in conferences, seminars-training meetings and preventive actions 528 people will participate. Conferences and study meetings will contribute to dissemination and good practices and knowledge exchange between doctors, preventive actions - among patients. Purchase of specialized medical equipment (85 units: Lead beneficiary 71, Beneficiary 14) will contribute to enhance access to health care. New equipment will allow to introduce 9 new or improved health care services. Examinations and operations gain new quality and safety standard. Hospital staff and patients of partner hospitals and inhabitants 18+ of Białystok and Grodno regions as final beneficiaries will benefit from joint project realization. Project results are of cross-border character and will contribute to the shortening of the period of incapacity to work due to faster diagnosis and technologically advanced treatment (purchase of specialized equipment, improved medical treatment in both hospitals). The project realization will contribute to closer existing and creation of new partner contacts between the medical institutions and their staff. (Polish)
