Cílem projektu je zvýšit výzkumný potenciál a mezinárodní excelenci výzkumného centra ve vývoji nových technologií a validaci toxikologických postupů in vitro s využitím buněčných a orgánových kultur odvozených od tkání lidského původu namísto pokusů na zvířatech. Interdisciplinární výzkum se zaměří na dráhy škodlivého účinku (AOP) chemických látek, biocidů, nanomateriálů a dalších složek výrobků určených spotřebitelům včetně zranitelných skupin populace (např. děti, senioři). a. The aim of the project is to increase the research potential and international excellence of the research centre in the development of new technologies and in the validation of toxicological processes in vitro, using cell and organ culture derived from tissues of human origin instead of animal testing. Interdisciplinary research will focus on the pathways of harmful effect (AOP) on chemicals, biocides, nanomaterials and other components of products intended for consumers, including vulnerable groups of the population (e.g. children, seniors).
