The project CLEAN GREEN PLAN aims to improve energy and resource efficiency in SMEs in the region of Southern Denmark, by promoting innovation and the deployment of low carbon technologies by SMEs. This objective is achieved through the implementation of a number of activities which together shall produce the desired output in the form of a green business model for each of the participating companies. The target group of the project is limited to the manufacturing sectors: food and drink, metal and metal manufacturing, electronics and components, machinery and motor vehicles, rubber, plastics and non-metallic mineral products, furniture and the retail sectors: small supermarkets, hotels and amusement parks. The delimitation has been carried out in such a way that the project includes the sectors with the highest energy intensity (share of energy purchases in gross value added), as it must be assumed that the most energy-intensive sectors have the greatest incentive to invest in resources and in particular energy efficiency; (English)
