Implementation of a new technology for the production of toilet paper with increased susceptibility to decomposition in aqueous solutions
Property / summary | |||
As part of the planned project, a new technology for the production of toilet paper with increased susceptibility to decomposition in aqueous solutions will be launched. The new technology is Starpap’s own technology, developed on its behalf by the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Faculty of Mechanics and the Faculty of Chemistry with the participation of the Applicant and takes the form of the results of completed development works. On the basis of the conducted studies, a method of modification of toilet paper in the process of its production was developed to make it more susceptible to decomposition in water. Modification of the paper with a starch solution will allow to reduce the weight of cellulose while maintaining the same mechanical properties. The modification in the proposed form will lead to a decrease in the sinking and decay index. (English)

Modyfikacja w zaproponowanej formie będzie prowadzić do zmniejszenia indeksu czasu tonięcia i rozpadu. (Polish)
