Improving air quality by increasing the share of RES in the production of energy in the Jedwabne Commune
Property / summary | |||||||||||||||
The applicant for the grant project is the Municipality of Jedwabne, which will then become a grantor for residents wishing to install a RES installation producing energy for the needs of their households. The main objective of the project is to: Reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the construction of 77 micro-installations using renewable energy sources on individual farms in the municipality of Jedwabne since 2023. As part of the project, 46 installations of photovoltaic panels (including 27 in rural areas) and 31 solar collectors installations (including 23 in rural areas) will be built. The municipality does not apply for points under the hybrid installation criterion. The use of renewable energy contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and volatile particulate matter resulting from the combustion of conventional energy resources (i.e. fossil fuels). Each of the inhabitants of the Jedwabne municipality participating in the project will contribute to the protection of the natural environment by installing photovoltaic panels and/or solar collectors in their home. This objective will be pursued through the following direct objectives: 1. Increasing the use of renewable energy sources in the field of electricity and heat generation for residential buildings located in the municipality of Jedwabne. 2. Reduction of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere by residential buildings located in the municipality. 3. Reduction of household maintenance costs in the municipality of Jedwabne. The project will be implemented in 2022 (English)

2. Spadek emisji szkodliwych substancji do atmosfery przez budynki mieszkalne zlokalizowane w gminie. 3. Obniżenie kosztów utrzymania gospodarstw domowych z obszaru gminy Jedwabne. Projekt będzie realizowany w 2022 (Polish)
