Clean energy in the municipality of Łuków V
Property / summary

The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of the environment and living conditions of residents in the Luków Commune by increasing the use of renewable energy sources in individual residential buildings. 389 units of solar installations with a capacity of 3.1 kW (two-panel) and two photovoltaic installations with a capacity of 2.56 kW will be installed in the private houses of the municipality residents. Some of the properties covered by the project located, among others, in the villages of Grzezówka, Zalesie, Klimki and Żjary are within the boundaries of the special protection area of the Łukowskie Forest PLB060010. All installations (solar and photovoltaic) will be installed on the roofs and facades of the building. The installed power for thermal energy will be 1 205.9 kW, and for electricity will be 5.12 kW. The total power of the installed RES equipment will be 1 211.02 kW (1.211 MW). Each installation will be equipped with an energy management system. A specialised web portal will be created to implement and promote clean energy solutions, services and products. It will also be used to provide online services related to the use of the installation (complaints, reporting of failures, etc.). As a result of the project, the estimated annual decrease in CO2 emissions will be: 152.58 Mg/year. The production of electricity from newly built RES installations will reach 1.89 MWhe and the production of heat: 442.99 MWht. The project will be useful to project stakeholders. The municipality will be the owner of a new RES infrastructure that will improve the quality of the services provided. Project participants will use installations located in residential facilities, which will reduce current maintenance costs. By reducing “low” emissions from household furnaces, in particular PM10, the project contributes to the objectives of the “Lublin Zone Air Quality Programme” (it has been classified as zone C). Utworzony zostanie specjalistyczny portal internetowy w celu wdrożenia i promocji rozwiązań, usług i produktów czystej energii. Będzie również wykorzystywany do realizacji usług online związanych z użytkowaniem instalacji (skargi, zgłaszanie awarii itp.). W wyniku realizacji projektu szacowany roczny spadek emisji CO2 wyniesie: 152,58 Mg/ rok. Produkcja energii elektrycznej z nowo wybudowanych instalacji wykorzystujących OZE osiągnie wartość 1,89 MWhe, a produkcja energii cieplnej: 442,99 MWht.
