This project aims to predict, support and develop young sports talents in the cross-border region, as well as to support the process of developing people’s sports identity and their attitude towards sport. Project’s objectives are: Developing a sustainable, innovative and joint sport strategy product based on special tests of young athletes that will contribute to the common branding of the programme area as an sport friendly destination and consequently to an increased number of young athletes. Raising cross-border sports co-operation among children and sports professionals to a higher level. Introducing sports professionals to modern technologies in the development of athletes. Project’s target groups are: Direct target group – mainly recruits 70-100 players/club, or the young sports players (4-12 age group); Indirect target group – audience, sports fans, families of the athletes/professionals, other sport clubs and their members, as well as the media. Project’s activities include: Opening conference with children’s sport festival (competition); Street football event; Joint training camp for children; Professional seminars for coaches; Euro Cup with the closing event; Su Team Olympic games for children; Professional training session for young athletes; The results the project intends to achieve are the following: Better recognition of the programme area as an general sport area (locally and internationally); Creation of a unified sport strategy for the development of the young athletes; Sport coaches and young athletes gaining new skills and knowledge and increasing their professional; Upgrade of equipment and big scale professional education needed for sport development.
