The goal of the project focuses on reducing inequalities of access to culture and patrimony for people with disabilities, promoting their social inclusion. The project partners aim to create a cross-border infrastructure network designed to improve access for disabled people to the culture of the border territories. The main theme will be shared heritage linked to the St James’ way. Project partners cooperate around accessibility "material" (accesibility to the material and to the place) and "immaterial" (museological innovative solutions designed to use by people with disabilities). These places, open to all the public, provide information of all the places adapted for people with disabilities, so they can experience this cross-border network. Share an identity composed of sets and common actions that materialize the management of cross-border network. Placing people with disabilities in the center of reflection, the project takes on a universal stance. It will contribute to social cohesion and the evolution of social representation of disability in the border territories. Increased influence of the territories, the results generated by the project will have an impact on employment and public assistance services, contributing to their conservation. (English)
