The challenges children with disabilities and their families are faced with, as well as the institutional problems that social care service providers are dealing with in Zadar and Mostar are reflected in: 1. lack of cities capacities in dealing with children withe disabilities, regardin the small number of trained therapists per children, non-adequate space & supporting infrastructure and often present architectural barriers; 2. Slow advance in applying new methods & practices in care for children with disabilities; 3. Low inclusion level of children with disabilities who are often ghettoized through facilities and isolated; 4. Low attention given to the parents and families of children with disabilities; For this reasons Zadar and Mostar have taken the initiative to shape new policy of socially inclusive cities for all children, and promote the integration of new practices in cities care for children with disabilities. In order to achive this, «Inclusive play» builds the cities capacies to deliver the change and encourages community understanding with the main objective of creating better environment and advanced posibilities for families and children with disabilities. The expected change will result in a new social care service model for helping children with disabilities and bring city of Zadar and Mostar closer to the perspective of socially-inclusive cities.OUTPUTS: Experts trained and certified (employees of partner institutions), experts for children with disabilities attended the know-how workshops, members of families of children with disabilities attended the educations, new Multisensory parks created. TG's: Children with disabilities, families of children with disabilities, experts working with children with disabilities, Local governments ;ADDED VALUE: easely replicable model of inclusive play have potential to change the policies of local governemts in CBA by imposing the inclusive play concept across the CBA (English)
