The Dynamo Main Project will assist remote groups to maximise the potential of their location through the shared generation of innovative, sustainable & disruptive social enterprises. The Dynamo Prep Project will stimulate international partnership in Social Enterprise and examine current best practice in the field. Prep Project: The Prep Project will pave the way for a full submission to the NPA. Objectives: Map the context for SE in the target areas, including; Assessment of capacity and need. Partner review and recommendations. Project review and recommendationsOutputs: Project report and, pending results, full main project submission to NPA. Principle beneficiaries: The principle beneficiaries in the prep project are the project partners. Main Project: The main project will address the common challenges of youth migration, fragile local economies, shrinking rural communities & high unemployment. Objectives: To form more socio-economic vibrant communities by establishing viable social enterprises, engineered to maximise the potential of the specific area. Outputs: 120 social enterprises started. 5 world class mobile ‘centres of excellence’ created. Principle Beneficiaries: Residents of NPA low density areas; both those directly engaged in the enterprises and those who avail of the additional products/services provided. (English)
