Project objective was development of joint water-based tourism product alongside Mura and Drava rivers and creating an attractive water-based tourism destination image of the target area. During the project implementation, one joint sustainable water-based tourism product/offer along both rivers was created. As a result, following attractions have been created: info point in Goričan (Croatia) focused on promoting new tourism product; upgraded artificial lake in Goričan; seven mobile piers (4 on Hungarian side of Mura and 3 on Croatian side). Furthermore, two boat storages needed for organizing boat tours were built; one resting place and one exhibition space/visitor centre in Molnari (Hungary) focused on presenting culture and tradition. In Donji Vidovec (Croatia), one exhibition space was established focused on promoting gold panning tradition. (English)
