Within the framework of the ISD Uni project, an integrated settlement development (ISD) training program was developed in the region with the leadership of the University of Pécs and the Civil Engineering Faculty of the North Croatian University and the Baranya County Municipality. The project involved cooperation between Hungarian and Croatian students, educators, architects, urban development experts, civil engineers and municipalities. The project activities were carried out in the border region, on both sides, in 3-3 settlements: Harkány, Siklós, Villány and Ludbreg, Prelog, Varazdin. For these settlements, students from both universities prepared an integrated settlement development plan. A study has been completed based on the ISD pilot training experience. The study covered six thematic areas: ISD methodology and good practices, urban investment, built environment, transport, green space, sustainable architecture. (English)
