"This project is part of the plan ALPIMED": “ALPIMED INNOV’s project would live to enforce innovation in mountain economy and sustain their development, make this territory an ecosystem of applicated innovation. Expected results would product a bettering of the entrepreneurship system’s current situation thanks to a collaboration with actors of the research (6 centres of applicated research and 50 innovative solutions introduced within industries), to the creation of new industries (5 new industries), to the creation of a newtwork and cooperation structures (3 networks). This PITER wants to co-build models of intervention on its territory in order to facilitate the emergence of a development schema at cross-border scale. The Plan wants to identify leviers and favourable conditions to local economic development of peripheric territories of mountain and rural, promoting in the same time territory advantages and exchanges. This plan will act on the following leviers: a better management of natural resources and a particular attention to climate change; valorisation of natural patrimony thorough eco-tourism; maintaining of a cross-border mobility and utilisation of innovation and access to information technologies to enforce the local economic.
