    This project answers to the axis 1 and aims to stimulate the innovation to improve the competitiveness and the technological development of the SME and the territories life quality. It has for main objective to support the effort of innovation of the food industry, in the field of the food plastic packaging, in the frontier regions and more particularly Aquitaine, Aragon, Euskadi and Languedoc-Rousillon. The result will be the production of a innovative material (a food plastic) with natural additives (and for certain stemming from the local agriculture) without migration, odourless and completely recyclable in material for the food packagings. This project allows: 1) to create specialists' network of packagings and plastics on both sides of the Pyrenees around SME. 2) to develop a demonstrator of innovative packaging, which will promote the products of the SME of the food industry of the POCTEFA zone. 3) to evaluate an innovative technique to improve the recycling of the food packagings.
