IMSIR is een intercommunale samenwerking van de gemeenten en OCMW's van Boom, Niel, Hemiksem en Rumst. Deze vier gemeenten en IMSIR werken reeds 50 jaar samen aan tal van sociale dienstverleningen en versterking van tewerkstelling in de regio. Imsir is an intercommunal cooperation of the municipalities and CPAS of Boom, Niel, Hemiksem and Rumst. These four municipalities and IMSIR have been working together for 50 years on numerous social services and strengthening employment in the region. IMSIR pays particular attention to supporting people with a greater distance from the labour market. (English)
