I am applying for support from the indicative envelope for rural areas. It is a small town in Komárom-Esztergom county, which has been inhabited since the neolithic. It reached its present form in 1950 by merging two settlements, Lábatlan and Piszke. It has been a town since 2004. It has more than 5100 inhabitants. The project aimed at creating a cultural and tourist centre of the city is part of the establishment of the Dunamente Ecotouristic Visitors’ Centre in a building called post coach building, which aims to present the natural values of the settlement and its surroundings and provides the opportunity to receive larger groups of visitors and to carry out employment. The building will serve the needs of tourists passing through the city, mostly cycling, tourists and tourist services in the city and its surroundings. In the vicinity of the visitors’ centre, with the development of the Gerenday Garden, a educational path presenting the natural values of the countryside, in particular its flora, will be created. Topographic numbers concerned by the development: 375/3, 375/5 The development is linked to the city’s other tourist attractions, the historic Gerenday house and the Holcim Memorial House, which commemorates the 150-year-old cement industry history. In the Visitors’ Centre there is, among other things, a reception where visitors are informed, buying tickets and selling gifts. From the reception there will be a large auditorium and an exhibition space presenting the sights of the surrounding area. The exhibition space will be divided into 5 rooms in total. On the one hand, a room will be set up to showcase the professions of footless (e.g. cement production, quarrying, stone carving, papermaking, fishing, etc.). The activities are presented in the form of tabloids and photos, time slots, text guides. On the other hand, a further 4 rooms will be set up, the central themes of which are the defining natural values of the countryside: the Danube and Gerecse. In order to ensure a complex tourist experience, the rooms will be equipped with innovative (e.g. video box with sound-insulated sofa, “whispering wall”) and interactive elements (e.g. touch screen, web application) in addition to the use of conventional presentation tools (e.g. photos, topography maps) according to the needs of the age. There is also a multifunctional community space within the building, with a smaller projection room and a larger room suitable for trainings, lectures and workshops. The room will be used primarily for the organisation of environmental education programmes, as well as for lectures and crafts. The Visitors’ Centre will have Wi-Fi and its own sub-home and will be available to visitors 290 days of the year to reduce seasonality. The Visitors’ Centre is expected to wait until 9-17 hours with extended opening hours in the high season. The exhibition venues of the centre are fully suitable for accessible access, as well as an accessible toilet and a parking lot for people with reduced mobility. In the main building there will be a bicycle point. The bicycle point will serve the needs of cyclists arriving in the settlement, such as the repair of bicycles and the purchase of necessary equipment. The bike point from the yard will be accessible independently. The necessary social premises will be installed in the annex to the main building. As part of the development, family- and child-friendly project elements, such as child-friendly sanitary facilities, family car parks, will be implemented. A storage facility is set up in the side wing to ensure the safe preservation of the equipment required for the events. The storage facility from the yard, will be accessible independently. As part of the project, 14 car parks (1 disabled, 1 family friendly, 10 normal, 2 motorists) and 15 bicycle support will be built. The project also includes the development of the garden developed by the Gerenday family at the end of the 19th century, which is currently a protected natural area of local importance. 1 board with interactive elements showing the history of the garden is placed in the educational path; and 9 holes for different species of birds (a total of 9); a total of 25 educational boards showing the flora of the surrounding area. The educational trail will be available to visitors 365 days a year. The project offers business opportunities for SMEs and creates cooperation between the municipality and businesses through the construction of a bicycle point in the visitor’s centre and a restaurant located in the nearby Holcim Memorial House (not affected by the development). The project contributes directly to the creation of jobs, it is planned to employ 1 tourist staff. The project fits into measure 2.1 of the Komárom-Esztergom County Regional Development Strategy and Operational Programme. A vidéki térségek számára elkülönített indikatív keretből igényelem a támogatást. Lábatlan már a neolitikum óta lakott területen fekvő Komárom-Esztergom megyei kisváros. Mai formáját 1950-ben két település – Lábatlan és Piszke – egyesítésével érte el. 2004 óta városi rangú település. Lakosainak száma meghaladja az 5100 főt. A város kulturális, turisztikai központjának megteremtését célzó projekt része a településen postakocsi épületként nevezett épületben kialakításra kerülő Dunamente Ökoturisztikai Látogatóközpont létrehozása, mely a település és környékének természeti értékeit kívánja bemutatni, és lehetőséget teremt akár nagyobb látogató csoportok fogadására, foglakozások lebonyolítására. Az épület lesz hivatott szolgálni a városon áthaladó, nagyrészt kerékpáros turisták igényeit, a város és környékének idegenforgalmi bemutatását, idegenforgalmi szolgáltatásokat. A látogatóközpont szomszédságában, a Gerenday-kert fejlesztésével egy, a vidék természeti értékeit, elsősorsban növényvilágát bemutató tanösvény kerül kialakításra. A fejlesztéssel érintett helyrajzi számok: 375/3, 375/5 A fejlesztés kapcsolódik a város további turisztikai attrakcióihoz, a nagymúltú Gerenday-házhoz, illetve a 150 éves cementipari múltnak emléket állító Holcim Emlékházhoz. A kiállítótér összesen 5 teremre lesz felosztva. Egyrészt kialakításra kerül egy terem a lábatlani szakmák (pl. cementgyártás, kőbányászat, kőfaragás, papírgyártás, halászat stb.) bemutatására. A tevékenységek tablók és fotók, idősávok, szöveges ismertetők formájában kerülnek bemutatásra. Másrészt kialakításra kerül további 4 terem, melyek központi témái a vidék meghatározó természeti értékei: a Duna és a Gerecse. A komplex turisztikai élmény biztosítása érdekében a konvencionális bemutatóeszközök (pl. fotók, domborzati térkép) alkalmazása mellett – a kor igényeinek megfelelően - a termek innovatív (pl. video box hangszigetelt kanapéval, „suttogó fal”) és interaktív elemekkel (pl. A főépülethez csatlakozó melléképületben kerülnek kialakításra a szükséges szociális helyiségek. A fejlesztés keretében család- és gyermekbarát projektelemek kerülnek megvalósításra, mint pl. gyermekbarát vizesblokk, családi parkoló. A mellékszárnyban egy tároló kerül kialakításra, mely a rendezvényekhez szükséges eszközök biztonságos megőrzésére szolgál. A tároló az udvar felől, önállóan lesz megközelíthető. A projekt keretében 14 db parkoló (1 mozgáskorlátozott, 1 családbarát, 10 normál, 2 motoros), továbbá 15 db kerékpártámasz kerül kialakításra. A projekt részét képezi a Gerenday család által a 19. század végén kialakított kert fejlesztése is, mely jelenleg helyi jelentőségű védett természeti területnek számít. A tanösvényben elhelyezésre kerül 1 db, a kert történetét bemutató, interaktív elemekkel ellátott tábla; továbbá 9 különböző madárfaj számára szolgáló odú (összesen 9 db); a környék növényvilágát bemutató, összesen 25 db ismeretterjesztő tábla. A tanösvény az év 365 napján elérhető lesz a látogatók számára. A látogatóközpontban kialakításra kerülő kerékpáros pont, illetve a közeli (a fejlesztés által nem érintett) Holcim Emlékházban üzemelő vendéglátóhely révén a projekt üzleti lehetőséget kínál a kkv-k számára, illetve megteremti az önkormányzat és a vállalkozások közötti együttműködést. A projekt közvetlenül járul hozzá a munkahelyteremtéshez, tervek szerint 1 fő turisztikai munkatárs alkalmazására kerül sor.A projekt illeszkedik a Komárom-Esztergom Megye Területfejlesztési Stratégiai és Operatív Program 2.1 intézkedéshez .
