The project is aimed at the acquisition of two new assets, the other facilities (professional, infrastructural) are either available or the company plans to implement it on its own. One machine is a rolled digital printing machine that can double the speed of the current machine. Faster construction and increased capacity allow faster service, thus improving the service as well. As the company is currently using a similar tool, training and treatment require little resources and can quickly switch to increased capacity. The service of the production of packaging materials consists of an understanding of the customer’s needs, high-quality implementation and a wide range of post-productions that can be varied. The service is evolving in every aspect. Production technology in the field of packaging means the production of different rolled products, because on production lines a roll packaging material is easier to process automatically than packaging in sheet form. The material of the roll can be paper or synthetic, it may contain individual elements, safety elements, can be multiple sides, etc., but the base is always the roll that can be produced with roll printer. Most of the coil printers are either digital printers or flexos. Flexo printing is typically used over 3 000 m roll length and digital for smaller orders, but with today’s digital printers it is often possible to print coil lengths above 3000 meters economically. To serve the possibility of uniqueness and a wide range of orders, it is worth purchasing a high-capacity digital printer, which the company intends to implement in the framework of this project. The other tool allows the packaging manufacturer to produce not only the simplest label, but also surface grafted finished labels cut to shape. These technologies are currently available to the company, but due to the increased production capacity, it is also necessary to increase the capacity to perform the most common post-works so that a post-production does not constitute a bottleneck in production. For the production of more complex packaging labels, other types of machines (e.g. gilding, condensing, etc.) already have to be used by CODEX Zrt. The machine to be procured can also produce high-quality, tamper-proof, unique labels with anti-counterfeiting protection. With the additional tools and expertise of the company, a highly competitive product can be produced at an affordable price. The cost of producing the products is also reduced because the toner for the machine to be procured is cheaper than the one currently used. An additional advantage is that the DCoat machine has been optimised for efficient use with Xeikon printers, thus reducing the amount of drops generated during the set-up and during the journey. A projekt két új eszköz beszerzésére irányul, a többi adottság (szakmai, infrastrukturális) már vagy rendelkezésre áll, vagy a társaság saját erőből tervezi megvalósítani. Az egyik gép egy tekercses, digitális nyomógép, mely a jelenlegi gép sebességének kétszeresére képes. A gyorsabb kivitelezés, megnövekedett kapacitás lehetővé teszi a gyorsabb kiszolgálást, így javul a szolgáltatás is. Mivel a cég jelenleg is használ egy hasonló eszközt, a betanulás és kezelés kevés erőforrást igényel, hamar át tud állni a megnövelt kapacitásra. A másik gép egy, a tekercses nyomat további feldolgozását segítő finishing eszköz, mely alkalmas a nyomat laminálására, lakkozására, kivágására, hidegfóliázásra. A csomagolóanyagok gyártásának szolgáltatása a megrendelő igényeinek megértése, a magas minőségű kivitelezés, széleskörűen variálható utómunkálatok sorából tevődik össze. A szolgáltatás minden szempontból fejlődik. A termelési technológia a csomagolóanyagok terén különböző tekercses termékek előállítását jelenti, mert a gyártósorokon egy tekercses csomagolóanyagot könnyebb automatizáltan feldolgozni, mint az íves formában érkező csomagolóanyagokat. A tekercs alapanyaga lehet papír vagy szintetikus, tartalmazhat egyedi elemeket, biztonsági elemeket, lehet több oldala stb., de az alap mindig az tekercs, amit tekercses nyomtatóval lehet előállítani. A tekercses nyomtatók közül a legtöbb vagy digitális nyomtató vagy flexó. Az flexó nyomtatást használják jellemzően 3000 méter tekercshossz fölött, a digitálist pedig kisebb megrendelésekre, de a mai digitális nyomtatókkal sokszor már 3000 méter fölötti tekercshosszokat is lehet gazdaságosan nyomtatni. Az egyediség lehetősége és a megrendelések széles skálájának kiszolgálására érdemes egy nagy kapacitású tekercses digitális nyomtatót beszerezni, melyet a társaság ezen projekt keretében kíván megvalósítani. A másik eszköz lehetővé teszi, hogy a csomagolóanyag gyártója ne csak a legegyszerűbb címkét, hanem felületnemesített, méretre, alakra kivágott kész címkéket tudjon gyártani. Ezek a technológiák jelenleg is rendelkezésére állnak a cégnek, de a megnövelt gyártási kapacitás miatt szükség van a leggyakoribb utómunkálatok elvégzésének kapacitás növelésére is, hogy ne egy utómunkálat jelentse a szűk keresztmetszetet a gyártásban. Az összetettebb csomagolóanyag címkék gyártásához már más típusú (pl. aranyozó, összehordó stb.) gépekre is szükség van, amelyekkel a CODEX Zrt. rendelkezik. A beszerzendő géppel magas minőségű, hamisítás elleni védelemmel is bíró, felületnemesített, egyedi címkék is előállíthatóak, a cég további eszközeivel és szakértelmével egy nagyon versenyképes terméket lehet előállítani elérhető áron. A termékek előállításának önköltsége is csökken, mert a beszerzendő géphez olcsóbb a toner, mint a jelenleg használthoz. További előny, hogy a DCoat gépet egyenesen a Xeikon nyomtatókkal való hatékony együttes használatra optimalizálták, így kisebb lesz a beállási és menet közben keletkező selejt mennyisége.
