The beneficiary is the Balaton Museum (BM), which is a regional museum. Its core activities shall be determined by the institution’s articles of association. The collection area of the museum covers the town of Keszthely and the former district of Keszthely. Collection circle: It covers archaeology, history, ethnography, fine arts, applied arts and natural sciences. The ethnographic area is underrepresented in its exhibitions and its programs, so few people can get acquainted with the folk culture and folk art of Lake Balaton. Folk culture is an integral part of the history of Hungarian culture, and national and folk knowledge is one of the priority cultural areas of public education. In particular, cultural, social, mother tongue, communication and citizenship competences can be developed by presenting and interpreting the museum’s national and ethnic knowledge, ethnographical topics. With the project, our goal is to support the development of digital competences in our non-formal and informal programmes supporting public education and adult learning in the ethnographic Visitor Library established in the Balaton Museum, in the related employment space, using state-of-the-art technologies. The target group of the project is the district of Keszthely and, in particular, the inhabitants of the town of Keszthely. In particular, the pupils and employees of public education institutions, participants in adult education within the public educational institutions, people with disabilities and registered jobseekers are our priority target groups. The site of development is the southern open atrium courtyard of the museum building, which is currently the courtyard of the museum’s café. The call concerns the activity type 3, i.e. the development of the ethnographic visualisation of the Balaton Museum and the related educational employment space, as well as the associated interior design, accessibility, building engineering, support structure and electrical network. In order to create the atrium, the atrium glass dome has a roof, and the first floor of the building is extended by an inner slab level at the appropriate level. The natural lighting of the lower floor can be achieved through an opening in the middle of the upper part. At both levels, the ethnographic collection elements with cultural history and additional museological information can be viewed in vitrines storage cabinets. On the ground floor there are furniture supporting education (rotary chairs, desks, chairs, laptop racks, and roller drawers), software and ICT tools to help showcase the digitised collection and learning (touch screen monitors with computer, projector, projection screen, notebook, speaker set, internet-connected tablet computer. Here we place the selfie making game dressed in shepherd and women’s wear, tactile, hand-held copies of the artifacts (ceramics, stove tiles, development line with Konty-Pearl beads, patterns engraved with folk art motifs) and employing tools (Balaton puzzles, Balaton dominos, Balaton memory games). As part of the development, we implement the project-proportional physical and infocommunication accessibility. We fulfil our information and publicity obligations. We meet the requirements of procurement. In addition to the project management organisation of 2 people, 5 staff are involved in the professional implementation. External experts support the preparation of the project, the preparation of the construction plan documentation, independent technical inspection, website development, auditing, wood furniture restoration; the development of physical and ICT solutions is supervised by a rehabilitation environmental engineer. The installed capacities are maintained for at least 5 years, and informal non-formal learning programmes are organised for a minimum of 300 people per year in the established occupational space and ethnographic Visitors’ Library during the project maintenance period. A támogatást igénylő a Balatoni Múzeum (BM), mely területi múzeum. Teljesítjük a beszerzésekhez kapcsolódó elvárásokat. A 2 fős projektmenedzsment szervezet mellett a szakmai megvalósításban 5 fő saját munkatárs vesz részt. Külső szakértők támogatják a projekt előkészítését, a kiviteli tervdokumentáció készítését a független műszaki ellenőrzést, a honlapfejlesztést, a könyvvizsgálatot, a fa-bútor restaurálást; a fizikai és infokommunikációs megoldások kialakítását rehabilitációs környezettervező szakmérnök felügyeli. A kiépített kapacitásokat legalább 5 évig fenntartjuk, a kialakított foglalkoztató térben és néprajzi látványtárban a projekt fenntartási időszakában évente minimum 300 fő számára szervezünk informális, nem formális tanulási programokat.
