A projekt során megvalósuló infrastrukturális fejlesztések következtében egy modern, energia- és költségtakarékos, 21. századi kistelepülési iskola kialakítása, mely a tanulók számára biztosítja az oktatáshoz való egyenlő hozzáférést. Az intézmény épülete kopott, a tetőszerkezet korhadt, a zsindelyek elvékonyodtak, átengedik a csapadékot, az elektromos hálózat elavult, az 1955-ös évben szerelt állapotú, az étkező nem kielégítő, kopott, a bútorzat régi, , töredezett, a padlózat felszíne repedezett, nem lehet teljesen higiénikusan tisztítani, az ajtók nem záródnak, mert eldeformálódtak a 60 év alatt. Az udvar nagy zöld felülettel rendelkezik, de üres, nem motiválja a gyerekeket mozgásra. Hiányzik a futballpálya, futókör, távolugrógödör, dobókör elfogadható formában. Az intézményi környezet elavult, felújításra szorul, intézményen belül és kívül. Az épület 900m2-es tetőfelületű.1956-ban adták át az épületet és azóta csak kisebb javítások történtek. A párnafák korhadtak, a héjazat elvékonyodott, átereszti a csapadékot. Az intézmény költségvetése csak a beázások ideiglenes javítására elegendő. A tető szerkezete egyedi a szarufák helyett vasbeton koszorú tarja, a fa felületek erősen korhadtak, veszélyesek, cseréjük szükséges. A tantermekben és a mosdókban még az eredeti hálózat működik, ami kátránnyal bevont alumínium huzalt jelent. A régi vezetékek nem bírják a terhelést, gyakran megégnek. A világítótestek a tantermekben, mellékhelyiségekben elavultak, nem adnak egyenletes fényt, az ÁNTSZ is kifogásolta, cseréjét javasolta. A villanykapcsolók, dugaljak nem elegendőek, elavultak és némelyik életveszélyes. Az iskola aulája kicsi, nem alkalmas közös ünnepélyek, nagyobb közösségi rendezvények megvalósítására. A tornaszoba szintén kicsi, funkciójára alkalmatlan. Egy fedett rendezvénytér kialakítása elengedhetetlen lenne. A tornaszoba szigetelése megtörtént. A színezés, külső festés hiányzik. Állagmegóvásra vár a szilikonos festéssel. A tornaszoba ajtói, az öltözőajtók festése kopott. A termosztát manuális vezérlésű, amely nem gazdaságos, nagy a hőveszteség a kapcsolási idők között. A tervezett fejlesztések hatására a térségben élők számára vonzóvá válhat a tagintézmény, ez a beiskolázások számát pozitívan befolyásolhatja. Mindez közvetve és hosszútávon a térség versenyképességének javulását eredményezi. A projekt ezen felül hozzásegíti az iskolát pedagógiai fejlesztési céljaink eléréséhez, támogatja az egész életen át tartó tanulást biztosító tevékenységeket, valamint az új tanulási tartalmak és formák kialakítását. Korszerű módszerek és eszközök alkalmazására nyílik lehetőség, melyeket az iskola az oktatási-nevelési tevékenységének több fázisában is felhasznál: motiválás, ismeretátadás, rendszerezés, ellenőrzés. A pályázatban feltüntetett oktatást segítő tárgyak, immateriális javak több tanulói kompetencia együttes fejlesztését célozzák meg, támogatva mind a tanári, mind a tanuló munkát. Az egész tanulóközösség megfelelő színvonalon és körülmények között oktatható és nevelhető lesz a projektben szereplő infrastrukturális fejlesztések, eszközbeszerzé (Hungarian)
